It was a great experience dealing with you on our new entrance addition and lift to make our building fully accessible. About Crossfire Contracting
We offer a wide range of construction services in and around the Edmonton area, and to all 4 borders of Alberta. From large projects to a small service call, our mission is to give our customers exactly what they are looking for with the professional results they desire.
Crossfire Contracting is owned by Patrick Richards, Patrick started his construction career in Winnipeg Manitoba where he attended Red River Community College taking Carpentry and blueprint design.
After successfully completing the courses, Patrick started to work for Jon Schulz, who was a carpenter/cabinet maker by trade that learned his craft in his home country of Germany.
After several years with Jon, Patrick learned many different aspects of commercial and home renovations to building specialty cabinets in the shop for the projects and then achieving his Journeyman certificate.
From there Patrick started working for another General Contractor, Sugimoto Construction where Patrick looked-after projects and personnel to see the project to completion. After Rod Sugimoto retired Patrick branched out on his own where he was building homes in and around the Interlake region and in Lake of the Woods in the neighboring province of Ontario.
After Patrick’s siblings moved to Alberta, his family made the decision to move west to stay close to them, where he started doing commercial millwork installations and grew the company to having 12 employee’s installing millwork all across Alberta and the Territories.
From being on so many different types of construction sites, Patrick could see the need for a General Contractor with a different approach and philosophy to their clients and hence started Crossfire Contracting.
Over the years Crossfire has successfully built the team to serve their ever-growing client base in the restaurant, medical, retail, industrial, and office renovation sectors, offering unmatched commitment to quality, safety, professional service they can trust and depend on from design and engineering, to turning over the key.
